Animation magazine brings us “A Day In The Life” for “Hasbro Studios”. This gives us a look at what goes on in the every day life of animators who work on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic at DHX Media‘s studio known as “Studio B”.

8 a.m.: Director James “Wootie” Wootton leads the morning rock-out!
9:30 a.m.: Supervising director/chief Pony groomer Jayson Thiessen gives Celestia some tender loving care.
10:41 a.m.: Clear your calendar, layout supe Joel Dickie – every day is PONY DAY!
11 a.m.: Keeping show developer Lauren Faust‘s vision alive, to the max!
12:15 p.m.: Life is nothing but rainbows and unicorns for key layout artist Stephanie Mahoney. And it’s even better if there’s free donuts in the lunch room!
1:28 p.m.: Finally, the biggest secret of MLP is revealed: Pegasus digital painters. Ya gotta use magic to make magic, kids.
4 p.m.: Don’t even think about checking out the view, this is a VIP (very important pony) meeting.
6:05 p.m.: After effects wizard Ben Galewitz considers a shot. “Hmm, I think more sparkles are in order.”
11:58 p.m.: Just because it’s midnight doesn’t mean you can go home! It takes long hours and a lot of coffee to keep those rainbows bright and those sparkles shiny. Back to work!
12:42 a.m.: Another day is over, but it’s all for the kids. Jayson T. hits the hay with his littlest fan, Xen.
