Advertising Age posted an article featuring My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Advertising Age is a pretty well known publication in the world of marketing and advertising. The context of the article started out by saying how brands are really owned by the fans and only partly by those companies producing the content. Few companies have really embraced that as much as Hasbro and The Hub with the explosion of popularity for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. They even go so far as to mention the references to Chocolate Rain in the second season’s opener and the more recent reference to the Big Lebowski.
